Zeolite as a Tool to Recycle Nitrogen and Phosphorus in Paddy Fields under Straw Returning Conditions
نویسندگان
چکیده
Excess nitrogen (N) caused by straw returning to paddy fields undergoing flooding irrigation deteriorates the water quality. The purpose of this research was use both simulated field and pot experiments explore a new approach using zeolite recycle excess N. results from in stagnant showed N adsorption with different applications (25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150 g L−1). Pot revealed how reused affected concentrations ammonia (NH4+-N), nitrate (NO3−-N), total (TN), phosphorus (TP) surface soil layers field. Zeolite strong ability adsorb NH4+-N wastewater, even drainage ditch (100 L−1 adsorbed 74% NH4+-N). recycled still able reduce concentration decomposition water. reduced peak values NH4+-N, TN, TP 30%, 19%, 5%, respectively. Based on these findings conventional designs, 20 t ha−1 is effective for recycling P. This provides sustainable development method mitigate quality deterioration

Pyrophosphate as a Source of Phosphorus: Hydrolysis under Different Conditions
Polyphosphates are occasionally added to the soils as a phosphate source for plant nutrition. Polyphosphates (e.g. pyrophosphates) may be more economical due to their smaller volume and low transportation costs. Pyrophosphates (PP) are water-soluble and their condensed nature results in higher P analyses. However, it is observed that PP is a relatively ineffective source of P for plants prior t...
متن کاملPhysiological Response of Quinoa to Nitrogen Application under Salinity Conditions
Salinity stress is one of the major abiotic stresses which injures plants by limited water absorption and nutrient imbalance and limits crop growth. In order to study the effect of nitrogen fertilizer on physiological traits of quinoa at high salt concentrations, a greenhouse experiment was conducted in a factorial arrangement based on a randomized complete block with three replications in 2019...
متن کاملEffect of Tillage and Straw Returning on Nitrogen Reserves in Summer Corn Topsoil
A field experiment with six treatments was conducted to study the nitrogen reserves in summer maize topsoil on the north China plain. Results showed that topdressing significantly increased topsoil nitrogen reserves. Summer corn topsoil nitrogen reserves were affected by several management measures. Shallow tillage, wheat straw no-returning and deep intertillage at the corn seedling stage signi...

The present investigation is an account of soil quality parameters and wheat (Triticum aestivum HD-2285) yield as influenced by insitu incorporation of paddy straw and its subsequent inoculation with two cellulolytic and one lignolytic fungi. Such information may prove useful to farmers as it may provide them with an option to use the undesired crop waste as partial replacements for synthetic f...

Nitrogen (N) in plants is generally diagnosed by a soil test and plant tissue analysis. However, such analyses are costly in terms of time and money and are not easily accessible byresearchers and extension workers, let alone farmers. Alternative cost-effective methods arerequired for rapid analysis of the N status of crops and to guide N management in wheat. Theobjective of this study was to as...
